Rave mashup mods#
In general, the mods trust you all to post relevant music. Usually we'll try to focus on more mainstream pop, but pop-adjacent artists are allowed. We are purposely vague on what we consider pop, because it's a difficult genre to define. Articles and links are prioritized over screenshots for news. Though posts such as articles, videos, links or pictures consisting of non-newsworthy content will be removed, they are always welcome to be posted in the General Discussion or Daily Music Discussion. Please only submit pop music news-related articles, videos, images or links that are topical and noteworthy. If it was an honest mistake, please message us we'll try to be as lenient as possible. These are banned on reddit sitewide, and sharing such material endangers our whole community. Asking for or posting instructions on how you can get it is also not allowed. Music videos must have premiered on YouTube to be posted.ĭo not post illegal streams or downloads of songs/albums. Always remember to use the 'Artist - Song' title format. This mainly refers to Friday releases other posts are generally released worldwide. The subreddit only allows music after it has been officially released in the United Kingdom.

Check beforehand to make sure a song hasn't already been submitted.

Tweet get more free mashups on his site here, or check his SoundCloud.Only songs and videos released within the last 30 days can be posted. This track doesn’t have nearly as much energy as the previous one, but its got a nice club/trance vibe to it: I’ll also share his most recent release from about a week ago, titled Guetta’s Calling Solveig Up, this one fusing together Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso – Calling, Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks, David Guetta – Titanium, and Martin Solveig ft Dragonette – Hello. I was impressed at how well he was able to mix these sounds without the Skrillex part overpowering the whole track and making it clash. From there it continues with plenty of samples you’ll recognize, leading up to “RUDEBOY BASS” drop 2:13. Starts with buildup & lyrics until the initial drop at 0:45. It’s a mash of Chrizz Luvly – Ravadelic, JLo & Pitbull – On The Floor, Borgore – Someone Elses (Document One Remix), Cataracts – Bass Down Low, and of course, Skrillex – Rock N Roll. My favorite of his is undoubtedly Rave N Roll On The Floor, which he released back in July.

Ever find yourself at a house party cranking dubstep or whatever, only to have the robot ear-less haters bitch about your song selection? Have no fear, Kap Slap is here! Best of all, his songs are available for free download, since they’re mashups. What’s his sound like, you ask? It’s tough to put him in a category since his tracks have so many different aspects to them, but according to his twitter: “Think Deadmau5, Avicii, & Skrillex infused with LMFAO, Britney and Katy Perry.” His tracks are good for any party: electro bangers with top40ish lyrics that everyone will know.

He’s been crankin out the jams this summer. For my first post, I thought I’d introduce yall to the up and coming mash-up artist Kap Slap, aka Jared Lucas, from Lehigh University in PA.
